यदि नाहं परित्याज्यो भवद्धयां पुरुषर्षभौ | युध्यतामनुरूपेण विक्रमेण सुविक्रमौ,“अत्यन्त पराक्रमी पुरुषप्रवर वीरो! यदि आप मुझे त्याग देना न चाहते हों तो अपने अनुरूप पराक्रम प्रकट करते हुए युद्ध कीजिये'
sañjaya uvāca | yadi nāhaṃ parityājyo bhavadbhyāṃ puruṣarṣabhau | yudhyatām anurūpeṇa vikrameṇa suvikramau |
ਸੰਜਯ ਬੋਲਿਆ— ਹੇ ਪੁਰਖ-ਸ਼੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠੋ, ਅਤਿ ਪਰਾਕ੍ਰਮੀ ਵੀਰੋ! ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ, ਤਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਨੁਰੂਪ ਪਰਾਕ੍ਰਮ ਵਿਖਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਯੋਗ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ੋਭਨ ਵਿਕਰਮ ਨਾਲ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰੋ।
