अजिशीर्षे प्रातःसंध्यायां संग्रामवर्णनम् / Dawn-Transition Battle at Ajiśīrṣa

Chapter 161

त्वमुत्पन्नो महाबाहो पञ्चालानां वध प्रति । करिष्यसि जगत्‌ सर्वमपाज्चालं किलोद्यत:,महाबाहो! तुम पांचालोंका वध करनेके लिये ही उत्पन्न हुए हो। यदि तुम तैयार हो जाओ तो निश्चय ही सारे जगत्‌को पांचालोंसे शून्य कर दोगे

tvam utpanno mahābāho pañcālānāṁ vadha prati | kariṣyasi jagat sarvam apāñcālaṁ kilodyataḥ ||

ਦੁਰਯੋਧਨ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਹੇ ਮਹਾਬਾਹੋ! ਤੂੰ ਪਾਂਚਾਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਧ ਲਈ ਹੀ ਜਨਮਿਆ ਹੈਂ। ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਉੱਠ ਕੇ ਤਿਆਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਂ, ਤਾਂ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਿਤ ਹੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਂਚਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਖਾਲੀ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਂਗਾ।
