द्रोणपर्व — पञ्चदशोऽध्यायः (Droṇa Parva, Chapter 15): युधिष्ठिर-रक्षा तथा अर्जुनस्य शरवृष्टिः
सौभद्रो5प्यशनिप्रख्यां प्रगृह्ा महतीं गदाम् । एह्टोहीत्यब्रवीच्छल्यं यत्नाद् भीमेन वारित:
Saubhadro 'py aśaniprakhyāṁ pragṛhya mahatīṁ gadām | eho hīty abravīc chalyaṁ yatnād bhīmena vāritaḥ ||
ਸੁਭਦਰਾ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਭਿਮਨ੍ਯੂ ਵੀ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਵਰਗੀ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ਗਦਾ ਚੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ “ਆਓ, ਆਓ” ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਸ਼ਲ੍ਯ ਨੂੰ ਲਲਕਾਰਣ ਲੱਗਾ; ਪਰ ਭੀਮਸੇਨ ਨੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਜਤਨ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕ ਲਿਆ।
