द्रोणकर्णयोः निशि संप्रहारः — Night Engagement with Droṇa and Karṇa

कर्णकौरवयोरेवं रणे सम्भाषमाणयो:

Transliteration

karṇa-kauravayor evaṁ raṇe sambhāṣamāṇayoḥ

Translation

ਸੰਜਯ ਬੋਲਿਆ—ਜੰਗ ਦੇ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਕੌਰਵ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਕਿ ਯੁੱਧ ਦੀ ਧਰਮ-ਸੰਕਟ ਭਰੀ ਧਾਰ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਦੀ ਗਈ; ਜਿੱਥੇ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ ਵੀ ਸਲਾਹ, ਵਫ਼ਾਦਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਮਹੱਤਵਾਕਾਂਕਸ਼ਾ ਆਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਟਕਰਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
