धृष्टद्युम्नस्य द्रोणाभिमुख्यं तथा सात्यकि-कर्ण-समागमः

Dhṛṣṭadyumna’s advance toward Droṇa and the Sātyaki–Karṇa confrontation

को हि नाम प्रमत्ताय परेण सह युध्यते । ईदृशं व्यसन दद्यादू यो न कृष्णसखो भवेत्‌,कौन ऐसा मनुष्य है, जो दूसरेके साथ युद्ध करनेवाले असावधान योद्धाको ऐसा संकट प्रदान कर सकता है। जो श्रीकृष्णका मित्र न हो, उससे ऐसा कर्म नहीं बन सकता

ko hi nāma pramattāya pareṇa saha yudhyate | īdṛśaṃ vyasanaṃ dadyād yo na kṛṣṇasakho bhavet ||

ਬੇਖ਼ਬਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੜ ਰਹੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਕੌਣ ਜੰਗ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਐਸਾ ਵਿਪਤ ਪਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ? ਜੋ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦਾ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ, ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਐਸਾ ਕੰਮ ਹੋ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ।
