Sātyaki-praveśaḥ and Duryodhana-saṃnipātaḥ
Sātyaki’s passage and Duryodhana’s mass engagement
tasyāstrāṇy astramāyābhiḥ pratihatya sa sātyakiḥ

Even amid adharma-like confusion in war, survival and protection of one’s side depend on disciplined mastery—skill guided by purpose, not mere rage. The verse highlights controlled competence (astra-kauśala) as a necessary virtue in a righteous struggle.
Sañjaya reports that Sātyaki counters the incoming weapons directed at him, using his own weapon-techniques and battlefield stratagems to neutralize them.
