भीष्मस्य मध्याह्नयुद्धवर्णनम् / Mid-day Battle Description: Bhīṣma Engaged by the Pāñcālas
सादिनां भुजगैश्छिन्नै: पतितै: साड्रदैस्तथा । प्रासैश्न विमलैस्तीक्ष्णै्विमलाभिस्तथर्डिभि:
sa-ādīnāṁ bhujagaiś chinnaiḥ patitaiḥ sādradaiḥ tathā | prāsaiś ca vimalais tīkṣṇair vimalābhis tathā ṛṣṭibhiḥ ||
ਸੰਜਯ ਬੋਲਿਆ—ਘੁੜਸਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਾਂਹਾਂ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਸੱਪਾਂ ਨੇ ਕੱਟ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਹੋਣ, ਛਿੰਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਬਾਜੂਬੰਦਾਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਡਿੱਗੀਆਂ ਪਈਆਂ ਸਨ; ਅਤੇ ਚਮਕਦਾਰ, ਨਿਰਮਲ ਤੇ ਤਿੱਖੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਝਲਮਲਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀਆਂ ਵੀ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਖਿਲਰੀਆਂ ਪਈਆਂ ਸਨ।
