इति श्रीमहाभारते भीष्मपर्वणि भीष्मवधपर्वणि भगदत्तयुद्धे पज्चनवतितमो< ध्याय:

ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਮਹਾਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਭੀਸ਼ਮ ਪਰਵ ਵਿੱਚ, ਭੀਸ਼ਮ-ਵਧ ਪਰਵ ਦੇ ਅੰਤर्गत, ਭਗਦੱਤ-ਯੁੱਧ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਚਾਨਵੇਂ ਅਧਿਆਇ ਦੀ ਸਮਾਪਤੀ ਹੋਈ।
संजय उवाच
As a colophon, the verse does not teach through direct instruction; instead it situates the reader within the epic’s moral architecture: war episodes are presented as parts of a larger inquiry into dharma, where even victories and defeats are framed within responsibility, consequence, and the tragic weight of righteous conflict.
This line functions as a chapter-ending marker, stating that the ninety-fifth chapter concludes here, within Bhīṣma Parva, in the subsection dealing with Bhīṣma’s fall, during the fighting involving Bhagadatta.
