तामापतन्ती सहसा कौरवाणां महाचमूम् । अभिदुद्राव वेगेन पाण्डव: श्वेतवाहन:,कौरवोंकी उस विशाल वाहिनीको आती देख श्वेत घोड़ोंवाले पाण्डुपुत्र अर्जुन सहसा बड़े वेगसे उसकी ओर दौड़े
tām āpatantīṁ sahasā kauravāṇāṁ mahācamūm | abhidudrāva vegena pāṇḍavaḥ śvetavāhanaḥ ||
ਕੌਰਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਹ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਫੌਜ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਧਾਵਾ ਕਰਦੀ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ, ਚਿੱਟੇ ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਰਥ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਵਾਰ ਪਾਂਡਵ ਅਰਜੁਨ ਬੜੇ ਵੇਗ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਵੱਲ ਦੌੜ ਪਿਆ।
