Varṣa-Parvata-Nivāsinām Varnanam
Description of Regions, Mountains, and Their Inhabitants
अन्ये ततो<5परिज्ञाता हस्वा हस्वोपजीविन: । आर्या म्लेच्छाश्न॒ कौरव्य तैर्मिश्रा: पुरुषा विभो
anye tato 'parijñātā hrasvā hrasvopajīvinaḥ | āryā mlecchāś ca kauravya tair miśrāḥ puruṣā vibho ||
ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਰੇ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਕੁਝ ਛੋਟੀਆਂ, ਅਣਜਾਣ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਲੜੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਛੋਟੀਆਂ ਬਸਤੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਜੀਵਿਕਾ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਹਨ। ਹੇ ਕੌਰਵ੍ਯ, ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਇਸ ਭਾਰਤਵਰਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਰ੍ਯ, ਮਲੇਛ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਲੀ-ਜੁਲੀ ਉਤਪੱਤੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਵੱਸਦੇ ਹਨ।
