अभ्याययौ भीमसेन निहन्तुं समुद्यतास्त्र: सुरराजकल्प: । यह देखकर आपका अनुपम प्रभावशाली पुत्र देवराजसदृश दुर्योधन भीमसेनको मारनेके लिये हथियार उठाये बड़ी उतावलीके साथ रथके द्वारा वहाँ आ पहुँचा
abhiyāyau bhīmasenaṃ nihantuṃ samudyatāstraḥ surarājakalpaḥ | yaḥ dadarśa tava anupama-prabhāvaśālī putro devarājasadṛśo duryodhanaḥ bhīmasenaṃ mārayituṃ śastram utthāya mahāutkaṇṭhayā rathena tatra ājagāma |
ਸੰਜਯ ਬੋਲੇ—ਭੀਮਸੇਨ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨ ਲਈ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਚੁੱਕ ਕੇ, ਇੰਦਰ-ਸਮਾਨ ਵੀਰ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਿਆ। ਇਹ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਅਤੁੱਲ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਦੇਵਰਾਜ ਵਰਗਾ ਦੁਰਯੋਧਨ, ਭੀਮ-ਵਧ ਲਈ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰ ਉਠਾ ਕੇ, ਵੱਡੀ ਉਤਾਵਲ ਨਾਲ ਰਥ ਦੌੜਾਂਦਾ ਉੱਥੇ ਆ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ।
