अध्याय ८० — मध्यंदिन-रणवृत्तान्तः

बाढमित्येवमुक्त्वा तु सर्वे पुरुषमानिन: । मध्यन्दिनगते सूर्ये प्रययु: सर्व एव हि
bāḍham ity evam uktvā tu sarve puruṣa-māninaḥ | madhyandina-gate sūrye prayayuḥ sarva eva hi ||
ਸੰਜਯ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਇਉਂ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਵੈ-ਮਾਨੀ ਸੂਰਮੇ “ਬਾਢਮ” ਕਹਿ ਉੱਠੇ। ਜਦ ਸੂਰਜ ਦੁਪਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ, ਉਹ ਸਭ ਯੁਧਿਸ਼ਠਿਰ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨ ਕੇ ਰਵਾਨਾ ਹੋ ਗਏ।
