अध्याय ८० — मध्यंदिन-रणवृत्तान्तः
Yudhiṣṭhira–Śrutāyu encounter; Cekitāna–Gautama clash; Abhimanyu pressure; Arjuna’s redeployment
जित्वा तु द्रुपदं द्रोण: शड्खं दध्मौ प्रतापवान् । तस्य शड्खस्वनं श्रुत्वा वित्रेसु: सर्वमोमका:
jitvā tu drupadaṁ droṇaḥ śaṅkhaṁ dadhmau pratāpavān | tasya śaṅkhasvanaṁ śrutvā vitrēsuḥ sarva-somakāḥ ||
ਦ੍ਰੁਪਦ ਨੂੰ ਜਿੱਤ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪੀ ਦ੍ਰੋਣਾਚਾਰਯ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਸ਼ੰਖ ਵਜਾਇਆ। ਉਸ ਸ਼ੰਖਨਾਦ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੋਮਕ ਯੋਧੇ ਡਰ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਬ ਉਠੇ।
