अपारमिव गर्जन्तं सागरप्रतिमं महत् । ध्वज और आभूषणोंसे भरी हुई यह सेना रत्नजटित पताकाओंसे व्याप्त है। दौड़ते हुए घोड़ोंसे जो इस सेनाका चंचल होना है

ਸੰਜਯ ਬੋਲਿਆ—ਉਹ ਸੈਨਾ ਅਪਾਰ ਜਿਹੀ ਗੱਜ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ; ਮਹਾਨ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਾਂਗ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ਦਿਸਦੀ ਸੀ। ਧੁੱਜਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਗਹਿਣਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੀ, ਰਤਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੜੀਆਂ ਪਤਾਕਾਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਪਤ ਉਹ ਫੌਜ ਮਾਨੋ ਚਲਦਾ-ਫਿਰਦਾ ਸਾਗਰ ਹੋਵੇ। ਦੌੜਦੇ ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਚੰਚਲ ਉੱਛਾਲ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਉਸ ਕੰਬਨ ਵਰਗੀ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਹਵਾ ਦੇ ਵੇਗ ਨਾਲ ਉਠਦਾ ਹੈ। ਵੇਖਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਸਾਗਰ-ਸਮਾਨ ਮਹਾਸੈਨਾ ਅਮਾਪ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਗੜਗੜਾਹਟ ਨਿਰੰਤਰ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਹੀ।
