The Tumult of Battle Described
योधास्त्वदीया: शरवर्षैरवर्षन् मेघा यथा भूधरमम्बुवेगै: । तथापि त॑ धारयितुं न शेकु- मध्यन्दिने सूर्यमिवातपन्तम्
yodhās tvadīyāḥ śaravarṣair avarṣan meghā yathā bhūdharam ambuvegaiḥ | tathāpi taṃ dhārayituṃ na śekuḥ madhyandine sūryam ivātapantam ||
ਸੰਜਯ ਬੋਲਿਆ—ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਯੋਧਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੀਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਐਸੀ ਵਰਖਾ ਕੀਤੀ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਬੱਦਲ ਪਹਾੜ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੇਜ਼ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਧਾਰਾਂ ਵਰ੍ਹਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕ ਨਾ ਸਕੇ; ਉਹ ਰਣ-ਮੱਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੁਪਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਤਪਦੇ ਸੂਰਜ ਵਾਂਗ ਦਹਕਦਾ, ਬੇਰੋਕ ਟੋਕ ਵਿਚਰਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ।
