अथैनं शरवर्षेण च्छादयामास संयुगे | गिरिं जलागमे यद्धज्जलदा जलवृष्टिभि:

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca | athainaṃ śaravarṣeṇa cchādayāmāsa saṃyuge | giriṃ jalāgame yaddhajjaladā jalavṛṣṭibhiḥ ||

Translation

ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਰਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਾਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਖਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਢੱਕ ਲਿਆ; ਜਿਵੇਂ ਵਰਖਾ-ਰੁੱਤ ਆਉਣ ਤੇ ਬੱਦਲ ਪਹਾੜ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਲਧਾਰਾਂ ਵਰਸਾ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਛਾਦਿਤ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
