Bhīṣma’s Stuti of Keśava and Counsel on Nara–Nārāyaṇa (भीष्म-स्तवः; नरनारायण-प्रसङ्गः)

तमुत्तमं सर्वधनुर्धराणा- मसक्तकर्मा कपिराजकेतु: । भीष्म महात्माभिववर्ष तूर्ण शरौघजालैविंमलैक्ष भल्लै:

tam uttamaṁ sarva-dhanurdharāṇām asakta-karmā kapirāja-ketuḥ | bhīṣmaṁ mahātmābhivavarṣa tūṛṇaṁ śaraugha-jālair vimalaiś ca bhallaiḥ ||

ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਅਪ੍ਰਤਿਹਤ ਪਰਾਕ੍ਰਮ ਵਾਲਾ, ਸਭ ਧਨੁਰਧਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ, ਕਪਿਧਵਜ ਮਹਾਮਨਾ ਅਰਜੁਨ ਨੇ ਮਹਾਤਮਾ ਭੀਸ਼ਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਹੀ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਭੱਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਘਣੇ ਤੀਰ-ਵਰਖੇ ਦੇ ਜਾਲ ਦੀ ਬਰਖਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਉਸ ਰਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਂਡਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਰਸ਼ਤ ਧ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਦ੍ਯੁਮਨ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਲਪੁਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਸੂਰਜ ਵਾਂਗ ਦਿਪਤਿਮਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੱਤੇ ਗਜਰਾਜ ਵਾਂਗ ਪਰਾਕ੍ਰਮੀ ਵੇਖਿਆ।
