भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ६२: वासुदेवमहात्म्यप्रशंसा (देव–ब्रह्मसंवादः)
तावेकरथसंयुक्तौ सौबलेयस्य वाहिनीम् | व्यधमेतां शितैस्तूर्ण शरैः संनतपर्वभि:,फिर एक ही रथपर बैठे हुए वे दोनों वीर झुकी हुई गाँठवाले पैने बाणोंसे तुरंत ही सुबलपुत्र शकुनिकी सेनाका संहार करने लगे
tāv ekaratha-saṁyuktau saubaleyasya vāhinīm | vyadhametāṁ śitais tūrṇaṁ śaraiḥ saṁnata-parvabhiḥ ||
ਫਿਰ ਇੱਕੋ ਰਥ ਉੱਤੇ ਬੈਠੇ ਉਹ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਝੁਕੇ ਹੋਏ ਗੰਢਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਤਿੱਖੇ ਬਾਣਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਹੀ ਸੌਬਲੇਯ (ਸ਼ਕੁਨੀ) ਦੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਚੀਰਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਏ।
