Adhyāya 6: Pañca-mahābhūta–guṇa-nirdeśa and Sudarśana-dvīpa
Five Elements, Sensory Qualities, and a Cosmographic Island
acintyā divya-saṅkāśā prabhor eṣaiva saṃvidhiḥ | upāsate yatra satraṃ sahasra-yuga-paryaye ||
The verse emphasizes that the Lord’s cosmic arrangement is inconceivable yet divinely ordered, and that sustained worship—symbolized by a long satra lasting a thousand yugas—belongs within that higher, providential order.
Sañjaya continues his description of a wondrous, divinely governed realm or phenomenon, explaining that there people engage in extended sacrificial worship (satra) across vast cosmic time, underscoring the grandeur of divine law beyond human calculation.
