विमृद्यैवं महानागान् ममर्दान्यान् महाबल: । अश्वारोहवरांश्वैव पातयामास संयुगे
vimṛdyaivaṁ mahānāgān mamardānyān mahābalaḥ | aśvārōhavarānś caiva pātayāmāsa saṁyuge ||
ਸੰਜਯ ਬੋਲਿਆ—ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਸ ਮਹਾਬਲੀ ਨੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹਾਨਾਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੌਂਦ ਕੇ ਚੂਰ-ਚੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਹੋਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਕੁਚਲ ਦਿੱਤਾ; ਅਤੇ ਰਣਭੂਮੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਅਸ਼ਵਾਰੋਹੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਡਾਹ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
