कलिड्नां च समरे भीमस्य च महात्मन: । जगत: प्रक्षयकरं घोररूपं भयावहम्
kaliṅgānāṃ ca samare bhīmasya ca mahātmanaḥ | jagataḥ prakṣayakaraṃ ghorarūpaṃ bhayāvaham ||
ਸੰਜਯ ਬੋਲਿਆ—ਤਦੋਂ ਰਣਭੂਮੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਲਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਯੋਧਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਾਤਮਾ ਭੀਮਸੇਨ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਇਕ ਅਤਿ ਘੋਰ, ਡਰਾਉਣਾ ਟੱਕਰ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ; ਦੇਖਣ ਨੂੰ ਭਿਆਨਕ, ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੈ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇ।
