आकाशादीरितां दिव्यामात्मनो हितसम्भवाम्‌ | भीष्म भीष्म महाबाहो शीघ्रं यत्नं कुरुष्व वै

Transliteration

ākāśād īritāṃ divyām ātmano hitasambhavām | bhīṣma bhīṣma mahābāho śīghraṃ yatnaṃ kuruṣva vai ||

Translation

ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਉਠੀ, ਤੇਰੇ ਹੀ ਹਿਤ ਲਈ ਦਿਵ੍ਯ ਬਾਣੀ—“ਭੀਸ਼ਮ! ਭੀਸ਼ਮ! ਮਹਾਬਾਹੋ, ਤੁਰੰਤ ਯਤਨ ਕਰ।”
