Garuḍa Array and the Ardhacandra Counter-Formation
रथे भीष्मस्य चिक्षेप यथा देवो धनेश्वर: । उधर श्वेतने क्रोधसे व्याप्त हो उस गदाको आकाशमें घुमाकर भीष्मके रथपर फेंक दिया, मानो कुबेरने गदाका प्रहार किया हो ।।
rathe bhīṣmasya cikṣepa yathā devo dhaneśvaraḥ | tayā bhīṣmanipātinyā sa ratho bhasmasāt-kṛtaḥ ||
ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਭਰ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਗਦਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਘੁਮਾ ਕੇ ਭੀਸ਼ਮ ਦੇ ਰਥ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੁੱਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ—ਮਾਨੋ ਧਨੇਸ਼ਵਰ ਕੁਬੇਰ ਨੇ ਗਦਾ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਹਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਵੇ। ਉਸ ਭੀਸ਼ਮ-ਨਿਪਾਤੀ ਘਾਟ ਨਾਲ ਰਥ ਭਸਮ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।
