उत्कृष्टहेमविकृतां निकृतां निशितै: शरै:

Transliteration

utkṛṣṭahemavikṛtāṁ nikṛtāṁ niśitaiḥ śaraiḥ

Translation

ਸੰਜਯ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਉੱਤਮ ਸੋਨੇ ਨਾਲ ਘੜੀ ਤੇ ਸਜਾਈ ਉਹ ਵਸਤੂ ਤਿੱਖੇ ਤੀਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕੱਟ ਕੇ ਢਾਹ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ; ਜੰਗ ਦੇ ਉਨਮਾਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵਧੀਆ ਕਾਰੀਗਰੀ ਤੇ ਠਾਠ-ਬਾਠ ਵੀ ਨਿਰਦਈ ਹਿੰਸਾ ਅੱਗੇ ਪਲ-ਭਰ ਦੀ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
