Kaurava–Pāṇḍava Readiness
तमुवाच तत:ः पादौ कराभ्यां पीड्य पाण्डव: । भीष्मं शान्तनवं राजा युद्धाय समुपस्थितम्
tam uvāca tataḥ pādau karābhyāṃ pīḍya pāṇḍavaḥ | bhīṣmaṃ śāntanavaṃ rājā yuddhāya samupasthitam ||
ਸੰਜਯ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਫਿਰ ਪਾਂਡਵ ਰਾਜਾ ਯੁਧਿਸ਼ਠਿਰ ਉੱਥੇ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਪਿਤਾਮਹ ਦੇ ਚਰਨ ਦਬਾ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਸ਼ਾਂਤਨੁ-ਨੰਦਨ ਭੀਸ਼ਮ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ।
