न नून॑ क्षत्रियकुले जात: सम्प्रथिते भुवि । यथास्य हृदयं भीतमल्पसत्त्वस्य संयुगे
sañjaya uvāca | na nūnaṃ kṣatriyakule jātaḥ samprathite bhuvi | yathāsya hṛdayaṃ bhītam alpasattvasya saṃyuge ||
“ਨਿਸ਼ਚਿਤ ਹੀ ਇਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਕਿਸੇ ਕਸ਼ਤਰੀ ਕੁਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੰਮਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ; ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜੰਗ ਦੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਦਿਲ ਇੰਨਾ ਡਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ—ਇਸ ਦੀ ਅੰਦਰੂਨੀ ਹਿੰਮਤ ਬਹੁਤ ਘੱਟ ਹੈ।”
