Transliteration

śukraḥ proṣṭhapade pūrve samāruhya virocate | uttare tu parikramya sahitaḥ samudīkṣate |

Translation

ਸ਼ੁਕ੍ਰ ਪੂਰਵ ਪ੍ਰੋਸ਼ਠਪਦਾ (ਪੂਰਵਾ ਭਾਦ੍ਰਪਦਾ) ਵਿੱਚ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਚਮਕ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ; ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਪਰਿਕ੍ਰਮਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਪਰਿਘ ਨਾਮਕ ਉਪਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਪ੍ਰੋਸ਼ਠਪਦਾ (ਉੱਤਰਾ ਭਾਦ੍ਰਪਦਾ) ਵੱਲ ਆਪਣੀ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਟਿਕਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਹੈ।
