रथा विंशतिसाहस्रास्तथैषामनुयायिन: । सेनाके मुहानेपर खड़े हुए

rathā viṃśatisāhasrās tathaiṣām anuyāyinaḥ |
ਵੀਹ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਰਥ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਯਾਈ ਸਨ। ਸੈਨਾ ਦੇ ਅਗਲੇ ਮੋਹਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਖੜੇ ਉਹ ਮਹਾਧਨੁਰਧਰ ਯੋਧੇ—ਬਲਦ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ—ਸੈਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਅਤਿ ਸ਼ੋਭਾ ਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ। ਹੇ ਨਰੇਸ਼! ਭੀਸ਼ਮ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛਲੇ ਭਾਗ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੀ—ਦੁಃਸ਼ਾਸਨ, ਦੁਰਵਿਸ਼ਹ, ਦੁਰਮੁਖ, ਦੁಃਸਹ, ਵਿਵਿੰਸ਼ਤੀ, ਚਿਤ੍ਰਸੇਨ, ਮਹਾਰਥੀ ਵਿਕਰਣ, ਸਤ੍ਯਵ੍ਰਤ, ਪੁਰੁਮਿਤ੍ਰ, ਜਯ, ਭੂਰੀਸ਼੍ਰਵਸ, ਸ਼ਲ—ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਚੱਲਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਵੀਹ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਰਥੀ।
