Bhīṣma-parva Adhyāya 16 — Saṃjaya’s Boon, Bhīṣma’s Protection, and the Dawn Arraying of Armies
संनद्धा: समदृश्यन्त स्वेष्वनीकेष्ववस्थिता: । ये तथा और भी बहुत-से नीतिज्ञ महारथी राजा और राजकुमार दुर्योधनके वशमें रहकर कवच आदिसे सुसज्जित हो अपनी-अपनी सेनाओंमें खड़े दिखायी देते थे || १८ इ || बद्धकृष्णाजिना: सर्वे बलिनो युद्धशालिन:
saṁnaddhāḥ samadṛśyanta sveṣv anīkeṣv avasthitāḥ |
ਸੰਜਯ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਉਹ ਸਭ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਤੇ ਕਵਚਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਜ्ज ਹੋ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪਣੇ ਵ੍ਯੂਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਟੇ ਹੋਏ ਦਿਸਦੇ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੁਰਯੋਧਨ ਦੇ ਵੱਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਨੇਕ ਨੀਤੀ-ਨਿਪੁਣ ਮਹਾਰਥੀ ਰਾਜੇ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜਕੁਮਾਰ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪਣੇ ਦਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਜ्ज ਹੋ ਕੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆਏ।
