भीष्मपतनविषये धृतराष्ट्रस्य प्रश्नाः | Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Questions on Bhīṣma’s Fall
अयं स मामभिप्राप्तो वर्षपूगाभिचिन्तित: । पाण्डवानां ससैन्यानां कुरूणां च समागम:,“मैं वर्षोसे जिसके लिये चिन्तित था, वह यह सेनासहित कौरव-पाण्डवोंका महान् संग्राम मेरे सामने उपस्थित हो गया है
ayaṃ sa mām abhiprāpto varṣa-pūgābhicintitaḥ | pāṇḍavānāṃ sa-sainyānāṃ kurūṇāṃ ca samāgamaḥ ||
ਸੰਜਯ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਜਿਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਮੈਂ ਕਈ ਵਰ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਮਨ ਹੀ ਮਨ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ, ਉਹੀ ਅੱਜ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆ ਪਹੁੰਚੀ ਹੈ—ਸੈਨਾਵਾਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਪਾਂਡਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕੌਰਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਮਹਾ-ਸੰਗਮ ਤੇ ਮਹਾ-ਸੰਗਰਾਮ।
