Bhīṣma-nipāta-saṃvāda — Sañjaya’s Report of Bhīṣma’s Fall (भीष्मनिपातसंवादः)

यच्छिखण्डिमुखा: सर्वे पाण्डवा भीष्ममभ्ययु: । कच्चित्‌ ते कुरव: सर्वे नाजहु: संजयाच्युतम्‌

yac chikhāṇḍimukhāḥ sarve pāṇḍavā bhīṣmam abhyayuḥ | kaccit te kuravaḥ sarve nājahuḥ sañjayācyutam ||

ਧ੍ਰਿਤਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਨੇ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ—ਸੰਜਯ! ਜਦੋਂ ਸ਼ਿਖੰਡੀ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗੇ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਾਂਡਵ ਵੀਰ ਭੀਸ਼ਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਆਏ, ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਕੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੌਰਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਅਚਲ ਭੀਸ਼ਮ ਦਾ ਸਾਥ ਤਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ?
