सर्व दुर्योधनस्यार्थ त्यक्त मे भूरिदक्षिण । मा चैतद्‌ व्याधिमरणं क्षत्रं स्थादिति कौरव

sarva duryodhanasyārtha tyakta me bhūridakṣiṇa | mā caitad vyādhimaraṇaṁ kṣatraṁ sthād iti kaurava ||

ਕਰਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ—ਹੇ ਭੂਰੀਦਕਸ਼ਿਣ! ਦੁਰਯੋਧਨ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਤਿਆਗ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਕੌਰਵ! ਕਿਤੇ ਐਸਾ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਕਿ ਖ਼ਤਰੀ ਧਰਮ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਬਿਮਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੌਤ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਮਝਿਆ ਜਾਣ ਲੱਗੇ।
