ततो नृपा: समाजहुस्तनूनि च मृदूनि च । उपधानानि मुख्यानि नैच्छत् तानि पितामह:
Transliteration
tato nṛpāḥ samājahus tanūni ca mṛdūni ca | upadhānāni mukhyāni naicchat tāni pitāmahaḥ ||
Translation
ਤਦ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਬਰੀਕ ਤੇ ਨਰਮ ਸਮੱਗਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਬਣੇ ਕਈ ਉੱਤਮ ਤਕਿਏ ਲਿਆ ਕੇ ਰੱਖੇ; ਪਰ ਪਿਤਾਮਹ ਭੀਸ਼ਮ ਨੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਾਹਿਆ।
