कौसल्यस्य धनुश्वापि पुनश्चिच्छेद फाल्गुनि:

Transliteration

kausalyasya dhanuṣvāpi punaś ciccheda phālguṇiḥ

Translation

ਸੰਜਯ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਫਾਲਗੁਨੀ (ਅਰਜੁਨ) ਨੇ ਫਿਰ ਕੌਸਲ੍ਯ ਦਾ ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਵੀ ਰਣ-ਮੱਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੱਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ; ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿ ਯੁੱਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਲਕੀਅਤ ਨਹੀਂ, ਸਗੋਂ ਸ਼ਾਸਤਰ-ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਅਨੁਸ਼ਾਸਿਤ ਕੌਸ਼ਲ ਹੀ ਨਿਰਣਾਇਕ ਬਰਤਰੀ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
