भीष्मस्य शरशय्या-प्राप्तिः
Bhīṣma’s Fall to the Arrow-Bed
उरःस्थेन बभौ तेन भीमसेन: प्रतापवान्
uraḥsthena babhau tena bhīmasenaḥ pratāpavān
ਸੰਜਯ ਬੋਲਿਆ—ਉਹ (ਆਘਾਤ/ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰ) ਛਾਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਟਕਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪੀ ਭੀਮਸੇਨ ਤਦ ਵੀ ਚਮਕਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ; ਸਿੱਧੇ ਹਮਲੇ ਵਿਚ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਹੌਸਲਾ ਘਟਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਅਤੇ ਯੁੱਧ-ਧਰਮ ਦੀ ਕਠੋਰਤਾ ਵਿਚ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੋਈ।
