Bhīṣma’s Fall to the Arrow-Bed
सात्यकि: समरे राजन् द्विधा चिच्छेद सायकै: । उनके बाहुबलसे प्रेरित होकर समरभूमिमें सहसा अपने ऊपर गिरती हुई उस शक्तिके सात्यकिने बाणों-द्वारा दो ठुकड़े कर दिये

ਸੰਜਯ ਬੋਲਿਆ—ਹੇ ਰਾਜਨ, ਸਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਤ੍ਯਕੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਤੀਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਦੋ ਟੁਕੜੇ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਵੈਰੀ ਦੇ ਬਾਹੁਬਲ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਆ ਡਿੱਗਣ ਲੱਗਾ ਸੀ; ਪਰ ਸਾਤ੍ਯਕੀ ਨੇ ਉਡਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਤੀਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਚੀਰ ਕੇ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
