भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ११०: पार्थभीमयोः प्रहारः तथा भीष्माभिमुखं संग्रामविस्तारः
Arjuna and Bhima’s pressure; escalation toward Bhishma
यथा प्रज्वलितं वह्निं पतड़: समभिद्रवन् । एकतो मृत्युमभ्येति तथाहं भीष्ममीयिवान्
sañjaya uvāca | yathā prajvalitaṃ vahniṃ pataṅgāḥ samabhidravanti | ekato mṛtyum abhyeti tathāhaṃ bhīṣmam īyivān |
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਪਤੰਗੇ ਭੜਕਦੀ ਅੱਗ ਵੱਲ ਦੌੜ ਕੇ ਕੇਵਲ ਮੌਤ ਹੀ ਪਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤਿਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਭੀਸ਼ਮ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਮੌਤ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਹੀ ਆ ਖੜਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹਾਂ।
