ववर्ष तत्र पर्जन्यो मांसशोणितवृष्टिमान् । दिक्षु सर्वाणि सैन्यानि तदद्भुतमिवाभवत्,उस समय वहाँ मेघ सब दिशाओंमें समस्त सैनिकोंपर मांस और रक्तकी वर्षा करने लगे। वह एक अद्भुत-सी बात हुई
vavarṣa tatra parjanyo māṃsaśoṇitavṛṣṭimān | dikṣu sarvāṇi sainyāni tad adbhutam ivābhavat ||
ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਬੱਦਲਾਂ ਨੇ ਮਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਲਹੂ ਦੀ ਵਰਖਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਹਰ ਪਾਸੇ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੀ ਫੌਜਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਈ—ਡਰਾਉਣੀ ਤੇ ਅਸ਼ੁਭ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਅਦਭੁਤ ਅਪਸ਼ਕੁਨ।
