Marutta’s Sacrifice and Agni’s Embassy (मरुत्त-यज्ञे दूतत्वम्)
मरुत्त उवाच कच्चिच्छीमान् देवराज: सुखी च कच्चिच्चास्मान् प्रीयते धूमकेतो । कच्चिद्दवेवा अस्य वशे यथावत् प्रब्रृहि त्वं मम कार्त्स्न्येन देव
Marutta uvāca: kaccic chrīmān devarājaḥ sukhī ca kaccic cāsmān prīyate dhūmaketo | kaccid devā asya vaśe yathāvat prabrūhi tvaṁ mama kārtsnyena deva ||
ਮਰੁੱਤ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ—ਅਗਨੀਦੇਵ! ਕੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਾਨ ਦੇਵਰਾਜ ਸੁਖੀ ਹੈ? ਹੇ ਧੂਮਕੇਤੁ! ਕੀ ਉਹ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੈ? ਅਤੇ ਕੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਵਤਾ ਯਥਾਵਤ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਅਧੀਨ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ? ਦੇਵ! ਇਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੇ ਠੀਕ-ਠੀਕ ਦੱਸੋ।
