यज्ञवाटवैभववर्णनम् / Description of the Splendour of the Sacrificial Enclosure
कृष्णा तु द्रौपदी कृष्णं तिर्यक् सासूयमैक्षत । प्रतिजग्राह तस्यास्तं प्रणयं चापि केशिहा
kṛṣṇā tu draupadī kṛṣṇaṃ tiryak sāsūyam aikṣata | pratijagrāha tasyāstaṃ praṇayaṃ cāpi keśihā ||
ਪਰ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਣਾ ਦ੍ਰੌਪਦੀ ਨੇ ਈਰਖਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਲਾਹਨੇ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੀ ਤਿਰਛੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਨਾਲ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਵੱਲ ਵੇਖਿਆ। ਕੇਸ਼ੀ-ਵਧ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਉਸ ਭਾਵ ਨੂੰ—ਅਣਕਹੀ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਅਤੇ ਸਨੇਹ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ—ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ।
