सह वृष्ण्यन्धकव्याप्रैरुपासांचक्रिरे तदा | तत्र नानाविधाकारा: कथा: समभिकीरत्त्य वै

Transliteration

saha vṛṣṇyandhakavyāprair upāsāṃ cakrire tadā | tatra nānāvidhākārāḥ kathāḥ samabhikīrtya vai ||

Translation

ਵੈਸ਼ੰਪਾਯਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ: ਤਦੋਂ ਵ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਣੀ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਧਕ ਵੰਸ਼ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਵੀਰਾਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਰਧਾ ਨਾਲ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਤੇ ਸੇਵਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉੱਥੇ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਥਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵ੍ਰਿਤਾਂਤ ਯਥੋਚਿਤ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਕਹੇ-ਸੁਣੇ ਗਏ, ਅਤੇ ਧਰਮ-ਅਨੁਕੂਲ ਸਲਾਹ-ਮਸ਼ਵਰੇ ਦਾ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਬਣਿਆ।
