Adhyāya 42 — Mahābhūta–Indriya–Adhyātma-Vyavasthā
Brahmā’s Instruction on Elements and Faculties
यद् यस्माज्जायते भूतं तत्र तत् प्रविलीयते । लीयन्ते प्रतिलोमानि जायन्ते चोत्तरोत्तरम्
yad yasmāj jāyate bhūtaṃ tatra tat pravilīyate | līyante pratilomāni jāyante cottarottaram ||
ਜੋ ਭੂਤ ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਣ ਤੋਂ ਉਤਪੰਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਉਸੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੀਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਕ੍ਰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੱਤ ਇਕ-ਇਕ ਕਰਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਲੈ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਲਟ ਕ੍ਰਮ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪਣੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਮਾ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
