मरुत्तोपाख्यान-प्रस्तावः — Genealogy to Marutta and the Logistics of Royal Sacrifice
इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत आश्वमेधिकपवके अन्तर्गत अश्वमेधपर्वमें संवर्त और मरुत्तका उपाख्यानविषयक तीसरा अध्याय पूरा हुआ
prasandher abhavat putraḥ kṣupa ity abhiviśrutaḥ | kṣupasya putra ikṣvākur mahīpālo 'bhavat prabhuḥ ||
ਪ੍ਰਸੰਧਿ ਤੋਂ ‘ਕ੍ਸ਼ੁਪ’ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹੋਇਆ। ਕ੍ਸ਼ੁਪ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਇક્ષਵਾਕੁ ਪਰਾਕ੍ਰਮੀ ਮਹੀਪਾਲ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਬਣਿਆ।
