Adhvaryu–Yati Dialogue on Svabhāva, Ahiṃsā, and Mokṣa
ऑपन-साज बक। डे अष्टाविशोड ध्याय: ज्ञानी पुरुषकी स्थिति तथा अध्वर्यु और यतिका संवाद ब्राह्मण उवाच गन्धान् न जिप्रामि रसान् न वेझि रूपं॑ न पश्यामि न च स्पृशामि | न चापि शब्दान् विविधान् शूणोमि न चापि संकल्पमुपैमि कंचित्
brāhmaṇa uvāca | gandhān na jighrāmi rasān na vetsi rūpaṃ na paśyāmi na ca spṛśāmi | na cāpi śabdān vividhān śṛṇomi na cāpi saṅkalpam upaimi kañcit ||
ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਮੈਂ ਨਾ ਸੁਗੰਧਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁੰਘਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਨਾ ਰਸਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ; ਨਾ ਰੂਪ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਨਾ ਛੂਹਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਨਾ ਹੀ ਮੈਂ ਨਾਨਾ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਸੁਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ; ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਕੋਈ ਸੰਕਲਪ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
