बृहस्पति याजकं त्वं वृणीष्व वजन वा ते प्रहरिष्यामि घोरम्‌ । वचदश्षेदेतन्न करिष्यसे मे प्राहैतदेतावदचिन्त्यकर्मा

vyāsa uvāca | bṛhaspatiṃ yājakaṃ tvaṃ vṛṇīṣva vajraṃ vā te prahariṣyāmi ghoraṃ | vacaś ced etan na kariṣyase me prāha etāvad acintyakarmā ||

ਵਿਆਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਅਚਿੰਤ੍ਯ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਇੰਦਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ—“ਹੇ ਰਾਜਨ! ਆਪਣੇ ਯੱਗ ਦਾ ਪੁਰੋਹਿਤ ਬ੍ਰਿਹਸਪਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਣ। ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਨਾ ਮੰਨੀ, ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਵਜ੍ਰ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਹਾਰ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।”
