अश्रुत्वा हितकामस्य विदुरस्य महात्मन: । वाक्यानि सुमहार्थानि परितप्यामि दुर्मति:
Transliteration
aśrutvā hitakāmasya vidurasya mahātmanaḥ | vākyāni sumahārthāni paritapyāmi durmatiḥ ||
Translation
ਮੇਰੀ ਭਲਾਈ ਹੀ ਚਾਹੁਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਮਹਾਤਮਾ ਵਿਦੁਰ ਦੇ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਅਰਥਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਬਚਨ ਨਾ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਅੱਜ ਮੈਂ, ਮੰਦਬੁੱਧੀ ਧ੍ਰਿਤਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ, ਪਛਤਾਵੇ ਦੀ ਅੱਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੜ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।
