धृतराष्ट्रदर्शनाय पाण्डवानां प्रयाणम् | The Pāṇḍavas Prepare to Visit Dhṛtarāṣṭra

स प्रीतो वरदो मे5भूत्‌ कृतकृत्यो महामुनि: । अवश्यं ते गृहीतव्यमिति मां सो5ब्रवीद्‌ वच:

sa prīto varado me ’bhūt kṛtakṛtyo mahāmuniḥ | avaśyaṃ te gṛhītavyam iti māṃ so ’bravīd vacaḥ ||

ਵੈਸ਼ੰਪਾਯਨ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ— ਉਹ ਮਹਾਮੁਨੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਵਰਦਾਤਾ ਬਣਿਆ। ਆਪਣਾ ਕਾਰਜ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ— “ਮੈਂ ਜੋ ਵਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਤੈਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਿਤ ਹੀ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ।”
