न राज्ञो धृतराष्ट्रस्य न च दुर्योधनस्य वै
na rājño dhṛtarāṣṭrasya na ca duryodhanasya vai, viparīta-kaś ca me śatrur niyamyaś ca bhaven naraḥ |
ਵੈਸ਼ੰਪਾਯਨ ਬੋਲੇ— “ਰਾਜਾ ਧ੍ਰਿਤਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ—ਅਤੇ ਦੁਰਯੋਧਨ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ—ਕੋਈ ਮੇਰੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਨਾ ਚਲੇ। ਜੋ ਉਲਟ ਆਚਰਨ ਕਰੇ ਉਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਸ਼ਤਰੂ ਹੈ; ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਸੰਯਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਆਗਿਆ ਮੰਨੇ ਉਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਸੁਹਿਰਦ ਤੇ ਯੋਗ ਪੁਰਖ ਹੈ।”
