Vidura’s Message to Dhṛtarāṣṭra: Authorization for Dāna and Public Welfare (विदुरवाक्यम्—दानानुज्ञा)
एवं कथाभिरन्वास्य धृतराष्ट्रं मनीषिण: । विप्रजग्मुर्यथाकामं ते सिद्धगतिमास्थिता:
evaṁ kathābhir anvāsya dhṛtarāṣṭraṁ manīṣiṇaḥ | viprajagmur yathākāmaṁ te siddhagatiṁ āsthitāḥ ||
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੁੱਧਿਮਾਨ ਮਹਰਿਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ਮਈ ਕਥਾਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਧ੍ਰਿਤਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਨੂੰ ਧੀਰਜ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ; ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਧਗਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ।

After speaking consoling and instructive stories to Dhṛtarāṣṭra, the assembled sages, established in a perfected spiritual course (siddha-gati), leave and go their separate ways according to their own will.
