Chatra–Upānah Dāna: Origin Narrative
Jamadagni–Reṇukā–Sūrya Saṃvāda
प्रययुस्ते ततो भूयस्तीर्थानि वनगोचरा: । पुण्येषु तीर्थेषु तथा गात्राण्याप्लावयन्त ते
prayayus te tato bhūyas tīrthāni vanagocarāḥ | puṇyeṣu tīrtheṣu tathā gātrāṇy āplāvayanta te ||
ਫਿਰ ਉਹ ਜੰਗਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਯਾਤਰੀ ਮੁੜ ਤੀਰਥਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਤੁਰ ਪਏ। ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਤੀਰਥਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਇਕ-ਇਕ ਕਰਕੇ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਜਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਡੁੱਬਕੀ ਲਾ ਕੇ ਸਨਾਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੀਰਥ-ਯਾਤਰਾ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹੇ।
